Tumba is a domed shaped peak with steep southern and northern slopes. The peak Tumba is a cross point of the state borders between Bulgaria, Greece and FYR Macedonia. At the top is located border pyramid №1. Since 2001 in August each year an international climb is organized to the summit under the motto "Balkans Without Borders". Starting points for ascent of the peak are the villages of Kluch, Skrut, Gabrene and Lopovo mountain hut (on Bulgarian territory) and the village of Smolari and mountaineering home Sharena chesma mountain hut (in the FYR Macedonia).
