It’s located 1298 m above sea level and 13,5 km away from Samuilovo village, as they follow the macadam road to Demir Kapiya and then take the turn of Lopovo border post. It is a massive two-storey building , which is a reconstructed officer’s building of an ex-frontier post. It has been open for visitors since 2011. There is stove-heating, kitchen and dining room. The hut is a perfect place to start climbing the highest peak in Belasitsa- Kalabak a.k.a ( 6,5 km away) and the Demir Kapiya pass( 3,5km). There are 2 marked tourist paths to the area of Lolovo- from Kolarovo village( green marking) and Samuilovo( blue marking). Upon request, the guests can have homemade food and be provided with car transport from Samuiolovo village.
