Many friends and the idea of ​​turning cycling into a way of life in our beautiful South End at the foot of the charming Belasitsa Mountains are awaiting you at the event. The Bike Tour starts in Petrich (Bulgaria) passes at the foot of the Mountain and reaches the town of Strumitsa (FYR Macedonia). The return journey follows the same route. Total route length is 113 km.

For those who like bigger challenges we offer a variant of the route that makes a full tour of Belasitsa Mountains. After the town of Strumitca the route continues to Dojran lake and reaches Greece and finishes in Petrich. Total route length is 185 km.

Belasitsa Bike Tour 2017 is organized within the project "Belasitsa - the Mountain of Active People", which is jointly implemented by Mountaineering and Ecology Club Edelvajs – Srumica and Club for extreme sports and mountaineering Bela Extreme – Petrich. The project is co-funded by EU through the Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria–the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Programme.
